Dr. Janardan Ghimire, currently serving as Chairman, is a seasoned leader with expertise in leadership, strategic management, and quality practices. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the implementation and deployment of international quality models, Dr. Ghimire is recognized as a quality practitioner and expert well-versed in various ISO standards and their requirements. His incisive and result-oriented approach is complemented by a deep understanding of quality, environment, information security, health and safety, and structured business methodologies.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ghimire has been an advocate for quality, assisting organizations in achieving operational excellence through the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive organizational quality assessments. His professional journey includes affiliations with international and non-governmental organizations, where he has applied globally developed quality theories and tools to contribute to the social and economic development of Nepal.

Dr. Ghimire holds a Ph.D. from Mewar University, an MPA from Purbanchal University, and is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022. As an IRCA-approved Lead Tutor for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, he combines academic rigor with practical expertise.

Since 2000 AD, Dr. Ghimire has worked with TATA Infotech, BSI, KVQA, DNV, ICL, and other certification bodies. In 2009, he established National Certification and Management Nepal and serves as its Founder Director.

He contributed to the Nepal Quality and Productivity Center (NQPCN) from 2005 to 2022 and represented the organization at various international conferences, including the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) conferences in Kathmandu and Dhulikhel (2010), Sri Lanka (2012), and Abu Dhabi (2018). Additionally, he attended the Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) conferences in Dhaka, Bangladesh (2009); Taipei, Taiwan (2015); Vladivostok, Russia (2016); Seoul, South Korea (2017); Almaty, Kazakhstan (2018); and Tokyo, Japan (2019).

Under his leadership, the ANQ Internal Conference was successfully conducted in Kathmandu in September 2017. Currently, he serves as the President of the Quality Association of Nepal (QAN) since Nov 2022, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to advancing quality standards and practices in the region.
