Before certification you have to implement the requirements of the standard and the cost varies depending upon the level to which the organization is operating regards to the processes and procedures as per the requirement of standard. Certification cost varies depending upon the standard which you are going to certify, the scope of your organization and the size of your organization.

The validity of ISO Certificate is for three years subjected to annual surveillance. To maintain validity each year Surveillance audit is to be carried out. After 3 years to extent the period of validity recertification audit has to be carried out followed by annual surveillance for next two years.

Yes. For transferring certification, you need to carry out transfer audit.

ISO has developed different standards that can be applied for different sectors. You can implement the standard as per the nature of your business activities. The widely used standard is ISO 9001 (Quality Management System). ISO 9001 is a generic standard   that an organization can implement to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Some of the sector specific standards are,

ISO 22001: This standard is focused on the development and implementation of food safety management system and can be implemented by any organization that works in the food chain.

ISO 45001: This is occupational health and safety standard issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and incidents

ISO 45001: This is the international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases.

ISO 14001: This is a family of standards relating to the environment.

ISO 27001: This family of standards concerns information technology, with the goal of improving security and protecting company assets.
